As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, including inventory management, store appearance, and daily paperwork. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Greets and assists customers positively, answering questions and resolving inquiries. Maintains a clean, well-stocked store and provides excellent customer service. Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance. Assists in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store. Helps in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Supports loss prevention efforts. Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. Follows all company policies and procedures. Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives. Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks. Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, job knowledge, and relationship management.
