The Dutch passion tradition has reached almost iconic proportions and enjoys unprecedented popularity. Nowhere is the St Matthew Passion performed as much as in the Netherlands. The Nederlands Kamerkoor collaborates with the Residentie Orkest and the monumental Pieterskerk in Leiden for the performances of Bach’s timeless and compelling passion story.
