Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Ads helps brands design ad experiences that delight customers and deliver meaningful results. With our first-party insights, 300+ million worldwide active customer accounts, Amazon properties, and third-party publishers and exchanges - brands can reach the right audiences in the right places, both on and off Amazon.

We’re looking for a Recruiting Manager to lead a central team of Sourcers dedicated to finding and connecting top talent with exciting opportunities at Amazon Ads. Hiring the right people is at the heart of how we innovate and grow, and this team plays a vital role in making that happen. You’ll work closely with customer-aligned Recruiting teams across North America, building strong partnerships, developing thoughtful sourcing strategies, and guiding a team of Sourcers to success.

We’re seeking someone who is not only results-driven and strategic but also supportive and inspiring—a leader who values collaboration, enjoys developing talent, and brings fresh ideas to how we engage niche talent.

This role is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a fast-moving, supportive environment. If you enjoy leading high-performing teams and solving hiring challenges, this could be the perfect fit!

Key job responsibilities
• Drive sourcing capability & capacity across our team to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment of bar raising talent.
• Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Leaders) to determine future talent needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our requirements.
• Build, engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing Sourcing Recruiters.
• Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
• Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.
• Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.

About the team
We’re a passionate, high-performing team that takes pride in finding and delivering top talent. We move fast, think big, and support each other every step of the way. Collaboration is key—we share knowledge, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together. Our culture is built on trust, kindness, and a shared drive to make an impact. We take our work seriously, but we also know how to have fun along the way. If you’re looking for a team that values excellence as much as camaraderie, where your ideas are heard and your growth is supported, we’d love to meet you!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree.
• 6+ years of Recruiting and/or HR experience.
• 2+ years leading a team.
• Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team.
• Experience creating and executing effective talent acquisition strategies.
