About the Role We seek a strategic, experienced Principal of Business Development to lead sourcing, negotiating, and managing partnerships that add value and accelerate growth. Work with leadership to identify and pursue impactful partnership opportunities, evaluating options and bringing innovative ideas. Build relationships with internal and external decision-makers, overcoming barriers creatively and persistently. Lead contract negotiations using expertise, data, and emotional intelligence to secure favorable terms. Manage agreement execution, develop joint plans, and monitor performance, seeking to expand partnerships. Serve as a trusted advisor, influencing strategy and securing stakeholder buy-in. Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and results orientation. Qualifications 10+ years of experience, including 5+ in strategic partnerships or business development in tech, preferably SaaS or platform companies. Proven success in sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing complex partnerships with measurable results. Experience managing strategic partnership portfolios, developing joint plans, and exceeding KPIs. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging all levels of stakeholders. Strategic, business-savvy, data-driven, and adaptable to ambiguity.
