About the Role:
As Practice Manager , you’ll lead hospital operations, drive performance, and help cultivate a culture rooted in compassion, accountability, and service. You’ll play a key role in both the daily function and long-term success of the hospital — ensuring a high-quality experience for clients, patients, and team members alike.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource ManagementRecruit, hire, onboard, and develop a motivated, professional support team.
Promote ongoing education, mentorship, and performance coaching.
Facilitate regular staff meetings and transparent communication with all team members.
Foster a positive, inclusive culture aligned with VetEvolve’s Core Values : Serve, Evolve, Trust .
Address personnel matters promptly while supporting individual and team well-being.
Ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions.
Track and manage hospital KPIs including payroll, staffing, revenue, and client compliance.
Support strategic initiatives to grow services, enhance efficiency, and optimize patient care.
Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and purchasing to maintain financial health.
Ensure consistent and accurate use of practice management software and patient records.
Maintain hospital equipment and facility standards.
Collaborate with leadership on long-term goals and innovation opportunities.
What You Bring
2+ years in a veterinary leadership role (Practice Manager, Hospital Administrator, etc.)
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on mentorship and collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong financial acumen and understanding of veterinary KPIs
High adaptability, prioritization, and organizational skills
Experience with practice management software (e.g., AVImark) preferred
A genuine passion for veterinary medicine and team development
