Role Overview

Notch Partners is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the firm’s internal owner of business systems, including our CRM (Invenias), research platforms, analytics/reporting tools, workflow automation, and emerging AI applications. This role will be instrumental in helping the firm scale efficiently by optimizing systems, enabling better use of proprietary data, and driving technology adoption across teams. This individual will serve as a critical bridge between client service users and technical stakeholders, ensuring that our systems align with strategic priorities and support firm-wide efficiency. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Act as the firm’s lead administrator and subject-matter expert across core systems (CRM, data tools, research platforms, productivity software) 
  • Manage and optimize the firm’s CRM and related data systems (e.g., Invenias, Power BI, Excel) 
  • Analyze, document, and improve business processes across functions (client service, research, business development, and operations) 
  • Partner with stakeholders across client service and leadership to assess workflows and identify system-based improvements 
  • Own AI enablement strategy and execution, including the rollout of AI tools (e.g., GPTs, copilots, search optimization) to augment productivity 
  • Develop, manage, and refine automated processes and integrations across platforms (e.g., Invenias → Excel → Power BI → AI tools) 
  • Create and maintain dashboards, operational reports, and KPI tracking tools to support firm leadership 
  • Lead vendor relationships, manage upgrades, and troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with internal teams and third-party providers; Ensure data integrity 
  • Support training, onboarding, and documentation for users across new processes and tools 

 

Required Qualifications  

  • 3–5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, ideally in a professional services, consulting, or private equity environment 
  • Strong experience with CRMs (Invenias, Salesforce, or similar), data tools (Power BI, Excel), and workflow platforms 
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, solve problems, and deliver process improvements 
  • Effective communicator with ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized 
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, data Science, Business, or related field 
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities, with ability to work autonomously while aligning with overall firm goals
