API INTEGRATION DATA ANALYST

LOCATION : HYBRID IN OFFICE IN DES MOINES. * Easy location to commute to to work onsite!

HIRE IN MID JULY! IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW THIS WEEK!!! 

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE ** but once you get up to speed, you will be able to work from home and in office 3 days / week.

Salary: up to $57K base.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

· 1-2 years of experience. This is a More JUNIOR Position.

· API , XML, JSON, SQL, & Postman experience.

* API's : Find bugs in APi's, Validate API's, and Test APi's.

WHAT TECHNICAL SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:

•API, XML, JSON, SQL. 

•API's: Find bugs in API requests/responses, Validate API's, and Test APi's. 

•You will have close collaboration with the Development team and business partners. 

•Integration with the business platform, + data for onboarding, testing, and validating partner and customer APIs. 

•Responsible for developing and maintaining Postman Collections, conducting QA validation checks, and providing technical guidance for API consumption. 

•This role requires team collaboration to align on design specs and ensure successful execution of APi integration and data files transfer. 

•Data background 

•Proficiency with Postman, XML and JSON are a must. 

•Experience with tools like curl, POSTMAN, Fiddler, and Chrome Dev Console is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

•Communicating to test, validate, and confirm projects/changes are implemented/updated.

•Communicate with Customers directly - both external and internal, to update and understand changes related to projects & software status.

•Ability to analyze and understand internal & customer APIs, how they flow, may be RESTful and/or SOAP based APIs

•Understand XML / JSON 

•Be able handle multiple projects at the same time & Juggle!

• 1-2 years of experience in API testing, validation, and management.
• Proficiency in tools such as Postman and other API testing platforms.
• Familiarity with RESTful or SOAP-based APIs and their structures.
• Strong background in data analysis and database systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers to address project updates and software changes.
• Experience with debugging tools like curl, Fiddler, and Chrome Dev Console.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Understanding of API flow and specifications to ensure successful implementation.
